2010-2011 School Year

With the end of summer near I wanted to take a moment to say good luck and best wishes to my students at Marshall enrolled in Chemistry and Environmental Science

I also look forward to returning to my home school Edison and the students I have yet to meet!

week of april 12 thru the 16th

time to catch up on any assignments that are owed in class; this week we will be covering human development and chick development (chick development lab)

**tuesday after school lab will be sheep heart dissections and finishing up any menstrual cycle labs - i'll need to know who's partaking in dissection by tuesday at lunch time so i can prepare materials for that day - note if sign is on the door -we will either be working in our room or mr. haldeman's up the hall

Anti-Smoking Campaign

All classes are working on Anti-Smoking Campaigns
Assignments are due Friday at the end of class

Human Body Systems

All classes are studying the Human Body Systems. Thus far we have covered the digestive, excretory and respiratory systems. We will be moving into the circulatory system within the next week. At the conclusion of the systems study all classes will participate in fetal pig dissection.
If there are any questions -students are highy encouraged to stay after school (tuesdays for any lab make-ups) or during their study halls. Access to web allows you to blog questions and, as always, you should have my cell phone number and email address.

Midterm Review

Just a reminder to all students - this week we will be reviewing for our upcoming midterm. Be sure to bring your review books to class each day as we will be using them!

Also, any missing work for this term needs to be turned in by Friday, January 22nd for partial credit.
